Episode 1: Zhao Dashan was killed and turned into a terracotta warrior.
Ding Zhaozhao (played by Li Xingyao), a female inspector of the Six Gates Bureau, unintentionally gets involved in a mysterious murder case and teams up with the thief Chu Bufan (played by Chen Minghao) to solve the case. The incident takes place at the Zhao residence. On that day, the butler of the Zhao family sees the master about to leave for a business meeting. After knocking on the door and receiving no response, he breaks in and finds the master turned into a terracotta warrior, lifeless.
