Plot Synopsis

Lu Ning (played by Hu Yi Yao) enters the virtual world, and the only way to uncover the truth about her father's murder is to obtain the chipof Ye Wu Ming (played by Huang Xin), the number one assassin of the Xuanling Tribe. The chipcan only be activated when emotional fluctuations occur, so Lu Ning has to continuously conquer Ye Wu Ming. However, the identity Lu Ning has taken on is the very cause of Ye Wu Ming's centuries of tragic life - the Black Lotus.

The detailedplot follows the human girl Lu Ning who hacks into the game world to find the key evidence held by the virtual character Ye Wu Ming, in an attempt to obtain his memory chipand uncover the truth about her father's murder. However, during thisprocess, she discovers that her own identity is the source of Ye Wu Ming's tragic life - the Black Lotus. This leads to a twisted love story of love and murder, as well as mutual redemption between the two.

In the drama, the Black Lotus,played by Hu Yi Yao, is a spirited and mischievous girl gamer who ends upbecoming apowerful witch master. She is often haughty and stubboon the surface, but soft-hearted in her emotions, taking the initiative in romance but also avoiding true feelings due to her desire for revenge. Ye Wu Ming,played by Huang Xin, is the topplayer in the virtual world, cold-hearted and merciless as the Wu Qing Battle God AI, but he exhibits a gentle side only towards the female lead. He starts off as a loyal disciple but later becomes broken and corrupted.
