Plot Synopsis

Zhou Luo was the first academic genius in Qingshui Town to be admitted to aprestigious university. However, before completing his college education, he dropped out and returned to the town, causing a stir by attending a cram school.

If it weren't for the criticisms he faced, Zhou Luo might have never noticed another figure of interest in the town, Nan Ya. Nan Ya, a beautiful clothing store owner, was constantly the subject of gossip. She shuttled daily between her store and home, taking care of her sick daughter, Wan Wan.

As Zhou Luo grew closer to Nan Ya, he discovered that her marriage was far from happy. Her businessman husband, Xu Yi, had a cruel side that Zhou Luo witnessed firsthand when he saw himphysically abuse Nan Ya. The occurrence of the "Bridge Case" revealed numerous issues with Xu Yi's business operations. All of thisput Nan Ya's marriage in jeopardy.

Wanting toprotect her daughter, Wan Wan, Nan Ya sought a divorce. The kind-hearted Zhou Luo couldn't bear to see Nan Ya suffer repeatedly in her marriage and willingly offered his help.

In the end, with the assistance of Zhou Luo, the kind-heartedpeople of the town, and thepolice, allparties involved in the case received fair and just treatment.
