Plot Synopsis
Young Lin Tuo, who has just entered society, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), but his girlfriend An Zhi Que stood by his side unwaveringly. Together, they fought against the ravages of the disease and sought the meaning of life.
The vibrant Lin Tuo and An Zhi Que met at a job fair during their summer internshipin their junior year. They fell in love at first sight and, after getting to know each other better, they committed to a relationship. As graduation approached, the two ventured out of the ivory tower and stepped into society, taking onpart-time jobs, applying forpositions, andplanning their future together. Although their journey in life was not smooth, they gradually found their way with each other's encouragement. However, just when everything seemed to be going well, Lin Tuo was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS abruptly halted Lin Tuo's seemingly ordinary yet hopeful life. Despite the shortened lifespan, Lin Tuo bravely confronted the disease, transitioning from initial attempts to give upto coexisting with the terminal illness, all while being accompanied by the warmth and love of family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues. Thepeople around Lin Tuo, as well as his fellowpatients, were inspired by his courage, leading them to reevaluate their attitude towards life, leato cherish thepresent moment, and decide to live each day with unwavering effort, hope, and no regrets.

Episode 1 : An Zhi Que works to pay off her mortgage, while Lin Tuo is unwelcome when he visits his parents.
Episode 2 : Lin Tuo and An Zhi Que worked part-time together, and they started a romantic relationship.
Episode 3 : An Zhi Que's new house is unfinished, and Old An is anxious and upset, so he ends up in the hospital.
Episode 4 : Lin Ye, under great pressure, ran away from home when his attempts to persuade his parents were unsuccessful.
Episode 5 : Jiang Xuechang helped with the job search, and Lin Tuo was hired by the Ji family design company.
Episode 6 : Wei Haiyang scolded Lin Tuo, unaware that An Zhijue was celebrating Lin Tuo's birthday.
Episode 7 : An Zhiqiao collected the house payment, and Lin Tuo was officially converted as scheduled.
Episode 8 : Chen Guangpu was kicked out of the house by his parents, while Lin Tuo brought An Zhiyue back to meet his parents.
Episode 9 : Anting Sparrow Cafe opened, and Lin Tuo took over the business alone.

Lin Tuo's parents, have you ever considered the feelings of your children? Have you thought about what kind of life they want to have? Grandfather is the one who understands the hearts of the children the most, knows what they want.
Every time Lin Ye goes back, he can never escape the scrutiny of his grandfather. Lin Ye, keep going, you can do it. I believe that one day your parents will understand. Just stick to your original intentions, do what you want to do, live the life you want to live, and become the person you want to be.

I think Lin Tuo's father definitely had good intentions. Both of his parents work in the hospital, so naturally, he wants his child to pursue a medical-related profession. Resources are important, and having access to them can make the next generation's career and future much smoother.
However, his approach to guiding and communicating with his child was flawed, lacking in effective communication and understanding. (I have also once chosen a university major based on personal preference, but later regretted it.)
