Plot Synopsis

"GrowingPains of Swordsmen" is an adaptation of Gu Long's novel of the same name. It tells the story of the children of the leaders of the "Hundred Tongs Society" - Yan Qi, Wang Dong, and Lin TaiPing - who meet Guo Da Lu on their journey to become successors to the sect. They grow together in the martial world and face various challenges.

Fu Gui Manor inPing An Town serves as the headquarters of theprominent sect "Hundred Tongs Society." The three elder leaders, who desire retirement, interrupt the financial support of their children, Lin TaiPing, Wang Dong, and Yan Qi, and create difficulties to accelerate their growth aspotential successors. Unexpectedly, a commoner martial hero named Guo Da Lu appears and disrupts theirplans. He becomes friends with the three young heroes, and together they establish a martial arts school, a newspaper, a theater troupe, and a detective agency. However, their endeavors not only lead to increasingpoverty but also attract rival factions.

Meanwhile, the four young heroes face internal unity challenges, hostile forces, and romantic entanglements. Gradually, they developsurvival skills, grow fond of each other, and experience blossoming romances. When the three elder leaders decide topass on theirpositions to the young heroes, the latter refuse. They believe that those who bring joy to themselves and others in ordinary life are also heroes.
