Yong An Dream

Plot Synopsis

The capital city of Yong'an was thrown into chaos when the collapse of the West City Canal led to the downfall of Shen Wenqi, the Minister in charge of the construction. He was swiftly imprisoned, and his family suffered as well. Shen's two daughters, Shen Fei and Shen Zhen, found themselves trapped in the quagmire of the situation. Especially Shen Zhen, who had always been sheltered and naive, now found herself wandering the streets, unable toprotect herself.

At the same time, the Imperial Investigator Lu Shiyan, who was responsible for investigating the case, wasplagued by frequent dreams of his inexplicable connection with a mysterious woman. Through investigation, he discovered that the woman in his dreams was none other than Shen Zhen, the daughter of the convicted minister. Lu Shiyan gradually approached her, stepping into an unknown fate of his own.

As they delved into the case of the West City Canal, the two of them experienced life and death situations, entrusted each other with trust, and developed deepfeelings for one another. Lu Shiyan, living upto the trustplaced in him, uncovered the truth of the case with the helpof Shen Zhen. However, the true mastermind behind the scenes silently closed in on both of them.
