Plot Synopsis
"Moments of Youth" tells the story of several teenagers in a small southetown in the 1990s who form friendships through their shared experiences of "fighting before getting acquainted," leading to a series of coming-of-age stories.
In the 1990s, Chen Ting (played by Wu Yu Heng), a young boy who grew upwithout a mother, is raised by his father, Chen Fa Wei. He is rebellious and dreams of achieving instant success toprove himself to his father. Due to hispoor academicperformance, with the helpof his father's old friend, Chen Ting enters a vocational high school to study automotive repair. There, he befriends his nemesis, Lin Hao (played by Zhou Yan Chen), the "school bully" of West City, and a motorcycle-loving girl named She Zhen Zhen (played by Yang Xu Zi). As they navigate the waves of societal development, they grow together and each find their own life goals.

We've been together all this time. We met in elementary school (actually, we were in the same kindergarten, but we didn't know each other back then). It all started when we were just two introverted girls. We didn't enjoy playing and fooling around with our classmates, and that's how we met during a physical education class.
We started taking walks and chatting together, and over time, our conversations opened up, and we became good friends. Later, I transferred to a different school, but we still kept in touch. Now we're in college, and just like Ah Zhen in the drama, we're both pursuing our dreams.
Although we are in different cities, we have the same major, and we dream of going to a big city in the future, working together, and supporting each other for a long, long time...
During my freshman summer vacation, I boarded a train to a distant place with just over a hundred yuan in my pocket. I never thought about what would happen after I arrived, nor did I consider whether I would be deceived.
I just went there naively.
I remember after getting off the train, I didn't know where to go. So I carried my luggage and spent the night in a corner of the train station.
The next morning, I started carrying my luggage and went door to door along the street, asking if anyone was hiring. Because I hoped to settle down first and then give him a surprise.
All the silly things I did turned into the most beautiful memories of my youth.
Back then, I truly had so much courage. Now, when I think back, I am truly amazed by my younger self.
Perhaps it was because I was young that I had enough courage and determination to pursue love in a distant place.
Although that relationship didn't end up lasting, everything I did during my youth and all the experiences between the two of us have become beautiful memories in my life that may never be forgotten.
I met three senior sisters in high school, and it has been almost ten years now. We have accompanied each other through our youth, from school life to our current jobs. We have witnessed each other's happiness, attended weddings together, and witnessed the growth of our godson.
Whenever there are difficulties, we always encourage each other. Especially on each person's birthday, we celebrate together. Even when we are not physically together, they would prepare me a birthday cake and clothes inspired by my favorite idol.
Until now, we still often gather together. The people who have been with me through my youth are still by my side. Our story is still ongoing, and our youth is far from over.
