Plot Synopsis
"Alliance" is adapted from the novel "Double Happiness" by Lang Lang. It revolves around the intertwining of marriage and the workplace, focusing on the lives of urban women and reflecting their struggles, challenges, growth, and transformation. The story centers around theprotagonist Lin Shuang, who was once a topstudent at aprestigious university. After getting married, she quickly became a full-time mother due topregnancy. However, her efforts were not understood or respected by her husband, and she instead faced betrayal from herpartner, which deeply wounded her soul. Faced with the impending breakdown of her marriage, Lin Shuang has to retuto the workplace in order to fight for custody of her daughter. In the competitive society, she unexpectedly reunites with her old classmate Gu Xu, who has become an outstanding overseas talent.
As timepasses, Gu Xu never expected to encounter Lin Shuang again. Upon learning that she had abandoned herprofession for many years due to marriage, he felt a great sense of regret. While Lin Shuang faces multiple tests in marriage, the workplace, and family, her friend Jiang Xi silently supports her from behind the scenes. Gu Xu, due to his sympathy and concefor Lin Shuang's situation, unintentionally develops feelings for her. After going through a series of challenges and difficulties, Lin Shuang ultimately completes the transformation from a housewife to a career woman throughpractical actions. She discovers new self-worth in the workplace and finds her own love in theprocess. The plot is too melodramatic. In reality, who would be so kind to the third party who destroys their own family? Regardless of the original family background of the third party, it is not a valid reason for being involved in a love triangle.
Moreover, didn't they find out later that the male lead had a family and yet they didn't break up? I don't understand how such dramas gain such high popularity, and it's truly outrageous that some people empathize with the third party.
Women are trapped in the family, not because of men, but because of children. Women's love for children is completely different from men's.
Just like my child is sick, I take it to the hospital. Once the child was hospitalized with a high fever.
The child's father did not come back until the third day, he was in the hospital but he slept day and night, and when he was a mother, he couldn't sleep with worry, and he didn't sleep peacefully until the child's fever subsided on the fifth day.

Wei Ming, a character who wouldn't learn unless faced with consequences. In the final episode, his fantasies and the happiness of Lin Shuang's daughter were portrayed. Witnessing Guo Guo playing ice hockey and leaving behind her toys with a sad expression, it tugs at the heartstrings just a little bit.
However, there's a saying that goes, "Pity the person who deserves pity, but despise the person who deserves contempt." If Wei Ming hadn't started off with infidelity, deceit, and the subsequent events, it would have been a great TV drama.
It's definitely worth watching.
Who said that after watching "The Disappeared Her," girls are afraid of getting married? Why do I feel like it's actually after watching "Double Happiness" that I'm truly afraid of marriage?
After watching this drama, I have this fearful feeling towards relationships and marriage, as if everything is fake.
It's said that one doesn't rely on men, but during the lowest and most desperate times, it's men who provide the house, job opportunities, and confidence. When going out to start a business, there are still parents to help take care of the children.
Ultimately, in life, there are some things that are really difficult to achieve alone. Saying that one doesn't rely on anyone is simply impossible. We can only say that the female lead is really lucky to have such a powerful backing!
I just watched a few episodes. Jiang Xi knows that Gu Xu is married and yet willingly becomes his mistress? How can she still become friends with his wife?

Seeing Guo Guo cry when her parents were fighting reminded me of my childhood when my father would often argue with my mother. There were even times when my mother had to struggle to raise me alone, doing difficult farming work by herself. My father would frequently leave me and my mother at home.
Back then, we were very poor, and our house didn't even have a proper front door. We were always afraid of burglars entering our bedroom. Every time we encountered a thief, it was my mother who protected me, while my father was nowhere to be found.

I'm speechless. From the moment she found out about the affair, she started planning ahead. She waited until all the assets were transferred, and then she voluntarily proposed a divorce. She didn't gather any evidence for herself, and ended up in a pitiful state.
Even after being kicked out, she didn't cause a scene at the company. I don't understand why the scriptwriter portrayed the female lead as so weak and helpless. Who were they trying to infuriate with such a character?
What's so great about Wei and Cha Men? These women keep throwing themselves at them. One gets kicked out, causing her immense pain and heartbreak, drinking and crying. And now, another one comes along, Huang Jia Yi.
Haha, what's the deal with these women always chasing after them and causing themselves sorrow and tears?
To be honest, Lin Shuang brought this upon herself. She didn't listen to her parents' advice in the first place. If she couldn't see that the man had poor judgment at least by looking at his parents, she shouldn't have married into their family.
Even the house wasn't registered in her name, yet she still went ahead and married him. There's nothing good about him, including his entire being and his family. It's hard to believe she endured all these years without speaking up.
I feel that Lin Shuang's handling of emotions, especially towards Wei Ming, lacks authenticity despite being a couple for so many years. I don't get the sense that his joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness are well portrayed. I can't feel how strong their previous relationship was, and at least during the moment of collapse, he didn't seem devastated, shedding tears, or feeling deeply distressed.
Review: In real life, people like Wei Ming often thrive, while the friendship between Lin Shuang and Jiangxi is unrealistic. In reality, they are usually defeated by the combination of a third party and a scumbag, leaving the female protagonist helpless.
It's unrealistic for Lin Shuang to achieve success in her career solely on her own. Therefore, she encounters a benefactor in her life, Gu Xu. Why does this phenomenon occur? It's unfair for us ordinary working-class individuals who are also striving for success.
But in this society, is there anything that is completely fair? Lin Shuang's reliance on Gu Xu's help is inseparable from their shared experiences during their youth. Gu Xu's attraction to Lin Shuang is not only due to her own excellence but also her appearance, which plays an important role.
So, beauty combined with any advantage is a winning hand! Only playing a single card leads to a dead end...
In real life, housewives don't have such a perfect program for a comeback. It takes loving and highly educated parents, good cultural background, basketball skills, parents helping with childcare, and friends and neighbors lending a hand.
These are not the resources and support available to someone who has no connections and has to rely solely on their own efforts, starting from scratch as an ordinary mom.
Though I am one of those who are striving hard, it is precisely because I am that I understand the difficulties and hardships involved.
